It has a useful loop to attach a lanyard. Generally very useful for on-lead or 'to heel' dog walking, I'd say. There is a large clean solid area of illumination that looks close to daylight and it's good for checking what my Lurcher dog is sniffing at in the dark. I use this mainly for dog walking and it hangs off my wrist lighting up the ground where we walk as a warning to motorists on country lanes.
